LIV Pools didn't start with pools — it started on Tampa's custom-home jobsites. Seven years building high-end homes taught our founder, Yanni Ramos, construction from the ground up and earned him a Florida General Contractor license.
That led to a large-volume pool builder doing 500+ pools a year. Yanni rebuilt their estimating and standardized operations — and saw the industry's core flaw up close: past a certain point, volume becomes the enemy of quality. Schedules slip, accountability vanishes, and homeowners get left behind.
To fix the most broken stage — the trade work — he founded Perfect Catch Electric, Gas & Pools, putting plumbing, electrical, and gas under one accountable roof. It grew from one truck to eight vans and earned the trust of 35+ builders across Pinellas and Hillsborough.
One gap remained: general contractors and developers didn't trust pool builders — opaque markups, blown schedules, no respect for the larger build.
